2021 CHIP Annual Report (pphd.org)
Kimball County is among several communities participating in an effort to improve the health status of all people living in the Nebraska Panhandle.
The Kimball Health Services Community Health Improvement Plan 2021-2023 is one result of these ongoing efforts. This plan, based on the KHS Community Health Needs Assessment, is intended to serve as a road map for the local public health system, which includes individuals, schools, hospitals, organizations and communities to promote health.
The Community Health Needs Assessment was developed collaboratively in large part through the leadership of the Panhandle Public Health District. A sincere thank you to them and to our local focus group for helping develop these important documents.
The links below will take you to PDFs of the Community Health Assessment identifying the needs of the Panhandle region and the plan developed to meet those needs. Adobe Reader is required to view the documents.
