Ann Anderson, FNP-C has worked with cardiology patients in Northern Colorado, Eastern Wyoming, and Western Nebraska for over 18 years. Ann is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and a board-certified cardiac device specialist. She has lectured, written, and worked extensively in the area of general cardiology while specializing in the areas of heart failure and device management.
Cardiology clinics are offered weekly in both Kimball and Pine Bluffs.
Services include general cardiology, anticoagulation (Coumadin) management, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and cardiac device management (pacemaker/implantable cardiac defibrillators).
“I think areas that are of big concern is prevention. Many times people don’t get (their blood tested), so they don’t know if they have high cholesterol. They may know they have a family history of coronary artery disease but ‘it’s just not going to happen to them.’”
“The problem with that is, many times when they finally admit that they have a cardiac issue, it’s usually on the ambulance ride to a hospital. I think we can help these people get that care at home before it becomes an emergency.”
