Biography
Dr. William Dickey, MD is an Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose & Throat) with over 19 years of experience. Dr. Dickey specializes in head and neck surgery and will offer a wide range of otolaryngology services including evaluations and treatment of sinus disease, ear tube placements, nosebleeds, thyroid and parathyroid disease, snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, allergy treatment, vertigo and dizziness, and swallowing and voice disorders.
Dr. Dickey's strengths include sinus surgery and revision sinus surgery. He loves working with little kids to help them resolve ear infections. He listens to his patients and feel like what they have to say is important.
Dickey is often praised by his patients for being very personable, knowledgeable and for taking time with his patients to discuss surgical and non-surgical options for ear, nose and throat conditions. Dr. Dickey offers clinics at KHS two days every other week, and is available by appointment at (308) 235-1981 or by referral.
Board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Dickey most recently served as the primary physician at Ear, Nose & Throat of Parker in Colo. He earned his M.D. from Rush University in Chicago, Ill. After finishing his medical degree, he went on to complete an internship in general surgery and a residency in ENT at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. Dr. Dickey also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental, Populational, and Organismic Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
When he is not working, Dr. Dickey enjoys woodworking and photography, and outdoor activities like snowboarding and scuba diving. He and his family live in Denver.
